Falun Gong Practitioners Participate in July 4, 2003 Parade in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho
Under sunny skies the annual 4th of July 2003 American Heroes Invitational Parade was held in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Celebrating Independence Day provides a yearly opportunity for Dafa practitioners to show the public their graceful exercises, hand out beautiful paper lotus flowers, and march the parade route with the music “Pu Du” playing righteously.
During the event practitioners stopped to demonstrate the Falun Dafa exercises at many points along the parade route. Each demonstration drew resounding applause from the audience. Many in the audience also applauded instantly upon seeing “Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance” on the large banner carried by practitioners. The crowds were large at this popular event, helped by the warm, sunny weather, and other activities in this lakeside city. Practitioners from Coeur d’Alene, Seattle, Pullman, and Spokane took part in this year’s parade.
